- Eric and I live in a small community with our 3yr old son, Aiden. We enjoy being outside, traveling to new places and spending time with our family and friends. We take special interest in alternative energy (i.e. solar living) and health. On a daily basis, Eric and I find challenge and so much joy in raising Aiden. He has taught us more about life than we could ever have imagined!

Crossing Over by John Edward
This book describes John's journey into becoming a public medium and how he ended up on television. It also talks about how he recieves psychic information and he touches upon a few stories of people whom he has given readings to. He describes readings in which he was right on the mark and others where he seems to get nothing right at all.
The book is extremely easy reading. I started it about three days ago and I'm about three quaters of the way through it.
I find parts of it to be very interesting. I like reading about the in depth stories of people who he gives readings for. He will tell you what he said in the reading and how the people reacted, then go back and tell the person's detailed story. I enjoy that. I also enjoy reading about how he processes information that comes through to him and how he channels it to the other people involved.
However, parts of the book are a bit boring. When he goes on to explain the many meetings he had with television producers and book editors, I got bored and started skipping paragraphs to get to the point.
If you are interested in medium work, as I am, then his book is fairly interesting, good, fast reading. But, it's certainly not for everyone!
